Six Dogs Blue Gin is produced by Six Dogs Distillery, tucked away in the De Wet Valley on the edge of the Karoo - a landscape defined by rugged beauty, biodiversity, and clean, unspoilt air. This remote setting informs the distillery’s philosophy: small-batch production, sustainability, and a deep respect for natural botanicals.
At its core, this is a classic dry gin, but it is elevated by the inclusion of blue pea flower (Clitoria ternatea), which gives the spirit its vivid natural blue hue. When mixed with tonic, the gin transforms to a soft pink - a visual expression of the botanical chemistry at play. Alongside this, carefully selected botanicals such as rose pelargonium and subtle herbal elements bring a distinctly South African identity to a globally recognised style.
