The Saronsberg Shiraz 2022 is made from dryland and trellised Shiraz vineyards planted across varied soils - from gravelly clay to decomposed shale - benefiting from cool nights that preserve vibrant aromatics and balanced acidity. Hand-harvested fruit undergoes meticulous sorting and fermentation with a mix of whole-berry and crushed components, followed by extended maturation in French oak that integrates oak spice and builds depth. The result is a wine that feels both refined and powerful, reflecting Tulbagh’s terroir with precision and energy.
