Paddagang 10 Year Old Brandy is produced in the Western Cape, drawing on the deep-rooted expertise of KWV - one of South Africa’s most established and influential brandy producers. Founded in 1918 and based in Paarl, KWV has played a defining role in shaping the country’s brandy standards and global reputation.
This brandy reflects that legacy. Crafted from locally grown grapes and distilled in the traditional potstill method, it is matured for a minimum of ten years in small French oak barrels - a process that allows the spirit to gain both structure and complexity over time.
The Western Cape’s warm, dry climate accelerates maturation slightly compared to cooler regions, encouraging a rich interplay between fruit and oak. The result is a brandy that balances accessibility with maturity - expressive, rounded, and unmistakably Cape in character.

Deep amber with golden highlights, indicating extended oak maturation.
Nose:
Ripe stone fruit leads - apricot and peach - followed by vanilla, toasted oak and a gentle thread of baking spice.
Palate:
Smooth and rounded, with flavours of caramelised fruit, honey and soft oak spice. The texture is medium to full-bodied, with warmth that is present but well integrated.
Finish:
Lingering and mellow, with notes of vanilla, light toffee and dried fruit tapering gently.
