Mirari Gin is produced by Time Anchor Distillery, a boutique craft distillery located in the Maboneng precinct of Johannesburg. The distillery focuses on expressive small-batch gins built around distinctive botanicals and contemporary flavour profiles.
Mirari Pink Shimmer Gin is part of the distillery’s creative shimmer range. Each batch is distilled with traditional gin botanicals alongside floral ingredients, most notably Damask roses, with more than 1,000 roses used in every 500-litre batch.
The gin’s soft pink hue comes naturally from hibiscus infusion, and the bottle contains an edible shimmer that becomes visible when gently shaken, creating a pearlescent swirl in the glass. Despite its striking appearance, the spirit retains the structure of a classic gin with juniper at its core.
Colour:
Soft blush-pink in the glass. When the bottle is shaken, a delicate edible shimmer creates a swirling pearlescent effect.
Nose:
Fragrant Damask rose and rosewater aromas lead, followed by bright grapefruit citrus and subtle juniper.
Palate:
Smooth and aromatic with floral rose notes balanced by candied grapefruit. Cardamom spice and piney juniper provide depth and classic gin structure.
Finish:
Clean and lingering with delicate rose petals and a gentle citrus lift.
