Growing fine wines on the Meerlust Estate has been part of the Myburgh family tradition for 8 generations, beginning in 1756. Long recognized for producing world-class wines, the Meerlust Estate in Stellenbosch is rich in both charm and history. The wines are all made from grapes grown on the estate and matured in French oak. The Rubicon 2022 offers a youthful deep ruby red colour. A complex perfume of violet, ripe black plum, blackberry, cassis with cedar wood, bouquet garni and potpourri spice. This young and intense Rubicon is still tightly wound, and offers a palate packed with fresh dark fruit, rounded tannins and seamlessly integrated oak lifted by a good acidity.
