The “Bosstok” label celebrates traditional untrellised bush-vine Pinotage, where low yields from mature vines in the Agter-Paarl region concentrate flavour and structure. Grapes are gently handled and fermented with attentive extraction before part-barrel maturation in oak to add subtle complexity while preserving lively fruit expression. The result is a modern-style Pinotage that champions bright red-fruit notes and soft, integrated tannins - a vibrant South African red with immediate appeal.
Colour: Medium ruby-garnet with youthful clarity and a subtle hint of purple at the rim - bright and inviting.
Nose: Aromas of ripe red berries and plum are complemented by mocha, roasted coffee bean and gentle spice - a fragrant, expressive bouquet.
