Founded in 1760 in Reims, Champagne Lanson is one of the region’s historic Grandes Marques, known for a house style built on brightness, tension, and longevity. The Lanson Le Rosé Création NV reflects this identity, drawing fruit from a wide network of Grand and Premier Cru vineyards across Champagne.
A defining element of Lanson’s approach is the near absence of malolactic fermentation, a traditional choice that preserves natural acidity and gives the wines their distinctive freshness. For this rosé, carefully selected still red wines from key terroirs such as Bouzy and the Vallée de la Marne are blended into the base wine, contributing both colour and structure. Extended ageing on the lees - often several years beyond the legal minimum - adds subtle texture and complexity without losing the wine’s lifted, fruit-driven character.

Nose:
Fresh raspberry and strawberry lead, followed by pomegranate, blood orange and a gentle floral note of rose petal.
Palate:
Lively and precise, with red berry fruit at the core - strawberry, redcurrant and citrus - supported by a crisp mineral edge. The texture is fine and slightly creamy from lees ageing, but the wine remains driven by freshness.
Finish:
Clean, dry and persistent, with lingering citrus zest, red fruit and a subtle chalky note.
