Journeys End Ad Infinitum White Blend 2023
Blend : White
Description
Journey’s End Estate is positioned high on the slopes of the Schapenberg in Stellenbosch, overlooking False Bay. This elevated, maritime-influenced site benefits from cooling ocean breezes that slow ripening and help preserve natural acidity, a key factor in producing vibrant, expressive white wines. The estate focuses on a balance between modern precision and classic structure, with careful vineyard selection and minimal intervention in the cellar. The Ad Infinitum range reflects this philosophy, blending varieties to highlight both freshness and texture, while maintaining clarity of fruit and sense of place.
Colour:
Pale straw with a subtle green tint, bright and youthful in the glass.
Nose:
Fresh aromas of gooseberry, citrus zest and green apple lead, followed by softer notes of stone fruit and a gentle herbal lift. A hint of flinty minerality adds complexity.
Palate:
Light to medium-bodied with a crisp, lively acidity. Citrus and tropical fruit flavours carry through, supported by a slightly rounded texture from the Semillon component. Clean and focused, with good fruit purity and a subtle savoury edge.
Finish:
Refreshing and dry, with lingering citrus and a faint mineral note that keeps it precise.

Journeys End Ad Infinitum White Blend 2023
- Food Pairing : Journeys End Ad Infinitum White Blend 2023 pairs naturally with fresh, flavourful dishes where acidity can lift the palate. Grilled line fish with lemon butter or snoek pâté works well, as the wine’s citrus edge cuts through richness. It also suits chicken salads, goat’s cheese tart, or lightly spiced Cape Malay dishes, where its freshness balances aromatic flavours without overpowering them. For a simple option, enjoy it with oysters or mussels, where the wine’s saline minerality complements the briny character beautifully.
