Zevenwacht Wine Estate is situated on the Stellenbosch Wine Route, where maritime influences from False Bay help moderate temperatures and preserve natural freshness in the vineyards. With a history spanning more than 300 years, the estate combines a strong sense of heritage with a modern approach to viticulture and winemaking. The Johnson family, who own and manage the property, place significant emphasis on environmental stewardship and the preservation of the surrounding landscape. The fruit for the Zevenwacht 7even Rosé 2025 is sourced from carefully selected vineyard sites across Stellenbosch, including decomposed granite soils in the Polkadraai Hills and vineyards in the Banghoek Valley. The wine is produced in a fresh, fruit-driven style, with cold fermentation used to retain vibrant aromatics and crisp natural acidity.
Colour: Delicate salmon pink with bright, youthful clarity.
Nose: Expressive aromas of raspberry, strawberry and pomegranate lead the way, complemented by hints of rose petal and subtle citrus notes.
Palate: Fresh and lively with juicy red berry flavours, pomegranate and a touch of ruby grapefruit. Crisp acidity gives the wine energy and lift, while the medium-bodied palate remains approachable and easy-drinking.
