Boplaas Family Vineyards is one of South Africa’s oldest family-owned wine producers, with roots in Calitzdorp dating back to the late 1800s. Best known for fortified wines, Portuguese varieties and award-winning spirits, the estate has also developed a more contemporary range aimed at easy-drinking, fruit-driven styles.
The Pink Moscato Frizzante 2025 reflects that lighter approach - aromatic, gently sparkling and made for relaxed drinking rather than cellar ageing. Produced in the Klein Karoo, where warm days encourage ripe fruit expression, the wine retains freshness through early harvesting and careful temperature-controlled fermentation. A slight natural spritz lifts the palate and keeps the sweetness vibrant rather than heavy.
This is a wine designed for casual occasions: low in alcohol, fragrant and approachable, while still carrying the unmistakable Muscat perfume that has made the variety so widely loved.

Nose:
Lifted aromas of Turkish delight, rose petals, ripe strawberry, watermelon and soft grape candy, with hints of litchi and musk.
Palate:
Light-bodied and gently sparkling, with juicy red berry fruit and sweet table grape flavours at the centre. The mousse is soft rather than aggressive, giving the wine a refreshing feel despite the sweetness. Fresh acidity keeps the palate lively and easy to drink.
Finish:
Clean, fruity and lightly floral, with lingering strawberry and rosewater notes.
