Deep garnet red with youthful ruby highlights.
Nose:
Classic aromas of blackcurrant and dark plum lead the nose, followed by cigar box, cedar and layers of warm baking spice from oak maturation.
Palate:
Medium to full-bodied, with ripe cassis and blackberry fruit supported by firm but polished tannins. Balanced acidity keeps the wine composed, while notes of dark spice and subtle oak add depth through the mid-palate.
Finish:
Long and steady, finishing on black fruit, cedar and savoury spice.
