Bellevue Wine Estate lies in the Bottelary Hills of Stellenbosch, an area known for rolling slopes, decomposed granite soils and warm days moderated by cooling coastal air. These conditions are particularly well suited to red varieties, allowing full flavour development while retaining balance and structure. Bellevue is one of the Capeâs historic family estates, farmed for generations and closely associated with South African wine heritage. While celebrated for Pinotage, the estate also produces distinctive small-parcel wines such as this Malbec, showing both regional identity and an adventurous streak.

Deep ruby red with a youthful purple edge.

Nose:
Expressive aromas of plum, red cherry and blackberry lead the glass, followed by rosemary, fynbos, buchu and subtle oak spice.

Medium to full-bodied, with ripe dark fruit and juicy red berry notes supported by smooth tannins. There is freshness through the mid-palate, with savoury herbal detail adding complexity without heaviness.

Supple and persistent, finishing on plum skin, dried herbs and soft spice.
