Avante VSOP Cape Potstill Brandy is produced in the Western Cape using traditional copper potstill distillation methods that form the backbone of South Africa’s acclaimed brandy category. Crafted from quality wine grapes and matured in oak barrels for an extended period, the VSOP style offers added depth, softness and complexity compared to younger expressions.
The Avante VSOP aims to balance classic Cape brandy richness with a cleaner, more contemporary profile. Oak maturation brings layered spice and caramel notes while still allowing the fruit character to remain bright and approachable. Presented in a convenient 50ml miniature format, it offers an accessible introduction to well-aged Cape potstill brandy.

Deep amber with warm golden highlights.
Nose:
Rich aromas of dried peach, raisin and orange peel are layered with vanilla, toasted oak and hints of cinnamon spice.
Palate:
Smooth and full-bodied, showing flavours of caramel, baked stone fruit and honey balanced by gentle oak spice and roasted nut notes. The additional maturation adds softness and depth while maintaining freshness and structure.
Finish:
Longer and more rounded, with lingering vanilla, spice and subtle dried fruit character.
