The 2024 Chenin Blanc is sourced from vineyards in the Swartland, where warm, dry conditions and hardy bush vines produce fruit with excellent concentration while retaining natural freshness. Bruce Jack's winemaking philosophy is to let the fruit speak clearly, using gentle handling and cool fermentation to preserve Chenin Blanc's bright aromatics and generous texture. The result is a wine that captures the energy of the Swartland while remaining approachable and versatile at the table.
Colour: Bright pale straw with youthful green highlights
Nose: Expressive aromas of ripe mango, pineapple and papaya are lifted by fresh citrus notes, with subtle hints of bitter orange adding complexity.
Palate: Generous tropical fruit flavours lead the palate, supported by lively citrus freshness and a rounded, juicy texture. Bright natural acidity keeps the wine focused, while the fruit remains vibrant and well defined throughout.
