PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Wildeberg Farm can be found on a slice of untamed mountain above the town of Franschhoek. Wildeberg, ‘wild mountain’, is so named due to the wild nature of the place. Formally an equestrian farm, the land had never been planted under vine before. Wildeberg Terroirs is an expression of the most exciting vineyard blocks they work with within the wider Coastal Region. The Wildeberg White 2021 is a white wine made from 100% Semillon from ancient dry-grown bush vines in the Franschhoek Valley that were planted in 1905 and are a part of the Old Vine Project. This wine is a beautiful expression of semillon with aromatics of citrus, barkiness, vanilla and spice. On the palate there is a lingering creaminess with concentrated lime and hints of buchu.
