Situated near Stellenbosch, Spier is one of South Africa’s oldest wine farms with a recorded winemaking history dating back to 1692. Continuing a long-held tradition, Spier is a family-owned farm. The Spier Seaward Shiraz / Syrah 2022 shows upfront flavours of mulberry, cassis and blackberry complemented by delicate notes of subtle pepper and anise. The midpalate is balanced with concentrated fruit flavours leading to a smooth, dense tannin finish.
