Neil Ellis wines have been made from grapes sourced from the Stellenbosch district since 1984. The vision is to make distinctive refined wines that are expressive of their terrain and rank amongst South Africa’s finest. The Neil Ellis Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 is an award-winning red wine which celebrates the noble variety within a multi-vineyard blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12 % Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec. Intense dark colour. The nose shows restraint, with aromas of black berry, liquorice and cedar notes. The palate is tight and fresh followed by fine, dense tannins. This is a wine built to last and for early drinking would benefit with decanting.
