Swartland Winery is situated in the heart of the Swartland, harvesting its grapes from wine farms spread out on the hills around Malmesbury. Over the past 70 years the winery has changed from a cooperative cellar into a private wine company offering 51 world-class styles of red, white, sparkling and fortified wines from the picturesque Swartland wine valley. The Lions Hill brand name is derived from the famous Lion’s Head and Signal Hill peaks that flank Table Mountain. The range is offered as easy drinking wines. The Lions Hill Natural Sweet White NV is pale straw in colour with distinctive fresh lime on the nose and some lemon with whiffs of marshmallow and sherbet. Revved-up sweetness for Natural Sweet, flavours of juicy watermelon and lime, the acidity gentle and ends with hint of caramel.
