PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Sir David Graaff first planted vines on De Grendel in the Durbanville Valley in 1999, almost 200 years after the last vines were destroyed. Since then, De Grendel has become synonymous with exquisite wines, borne of the Graaff's love of the soil and scientific approach to winemaking. The De Grendel Op Die Berg Chardonnay 2023 portrays aromas of lemon rind, white peach and yellow apple on the nose. All these aromas follow through on the palate with gentle flavours of almond and a subdued, buttery finish. The acidity of this white wine keeps a lovely midpalate tension and offers a luxurious, long finish.
