Darling Cellars Wildflower Jeripigo Hanepoot NV

Darling Cellars is situated on the west coast of South Africa between Malmesbury and Darling. The cool and temperate west coast climate lends itself to a different micro and mesoclimate which, along with the different types of soil, lead to unique grapes, which are then guided into unique wines. Hanepoot wines are made from Muscat d’ Alexandrie, which is called Hanepoot locally. Jerepiko is a red or white wine, produced without fermentation. It is very sweet, with substantial unfermented grape flavours. The Darling Cellars Wildflower Hanepoot NV is just the wine to sip while sitting in front of the fire on a cold winter’s evening! The wine is fresh and zesty with a rich sweetness and ends with a lengthy and vibrant finish. Beautifully fragrant Muscat flavours fill the glass together with honeysuckle notes; and luscious citrus and ripe yellow peace flavours; sweetness well balanced with lively acidity for along and fruity aftertaste.
