Waterkloof are unassumingly elegant and sophisticated in their approach to farming and winemaking. The Somerset West estate places a strong emphasis on minimal intervention and gentle handling to preserve the natural 'circle of life' in all areas on the farm, and this is reflected in their wines, which show a commonality of sophisticated restraint. The Waterkloof Circumstance Mourvedre 2018 is a complex red wine with a fusion of savoury and sage notes and supple raspberry and dark fruit. It can be paired with a variety of dishes but should show well with wild boar or lamb on the grill.
