Saxenburg is a family-owned winery based in Stellenbosch. The Saxenburg Private Collection Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 has red berries and prune characters, with undertones of smoked jalapeno, coffee, and tobacco on the nose. A medium acidity, full bodied red wine with a long finish on the palate. An elegant wine that will compliment most red meat dishes, venison, or creamy beef stroganoff.
