PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Lothian Vineyards is owned by the Wilson Family and set on the banks of the Palmiet River and a private lake in the Elgin Valley. Years of searching for the perfect location finally revealed Elgin’s cool-climate terroir as an elegant setting for growing grapes to produce exceptional Burgundian-style Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling and Rose varietals. The Lothian Isobel Rosé 2021 has the colour of pale pink tourmaline crystals. The nose is soft and gives a slightly sweet impression of ripe red apples. Surprisingly it is one of the driest rose wines available. The fresh acidity heralds a more serious food-style rose. There are hints of raspberry. This wine has a wonderful minerality encased in a superb mouth feel. This gives length and complexity.
