All materials posted on this site are subject to copyrights owned by the Wine-of-the-Month Club and other individuals or entities.

We collect no information on browsers of our website, unless volunteered (for example the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail or survey information and/or site registrations).
From time to time the information that is volunteered may be used by the Wine-of-the-Month Club for communication or marketing purposes. This information is stored in fully secure databases with restricted access. We do track and analyse data for trends and statistics, but the individual user remains anonymous. We will only ever disclose aggregate information about our user base.
This information may be updated by the user through our login function on the website, or by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. We do not share our email address data with third parties, although we may conduct joint ventures other reputable organizations. In the latter case the Wine-of-the-Month Club will retain control of the email data.
Users may indicate that they do not wish to receive such communications by contacting us at email@example.com. We will be sure your request is honoured.
5. CREDIT CARD ACQUIRING AND SECURITY
Credit card transactions will be acquired for Wine-of-the-Month Club via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
6. CUSTOMER DETAILS SEPARATE FROM CARD DETAILS
Customer details will be stored by Wine-of-the-Month Club separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za
7. MERCHANT OUTLET COUNTRY AND TRANSACTION CURRENCY
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Wine-of-the-Month Club takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods

Furthermore, Wine-of-the-Month Club makes no representations or warranties, implied or otherwise, that, amongst others, the content and technology available from this website are free from errors or omissions or that the service will be 100% uninterrupted and error free. 13.2 Any person that delivers or attempts to deliver any damaging code to this website or attempts to gain unauthorised access to any page on this website shall be prosecuted and civil damages shall be claimed in the event that Wine-of-the-Month Club suffers any damage or loss.
14. GOVERNING LAW
This site is hosted, controlled and operated from the Republic of South Africa and therefore the South African law and Wine-of-the-Month Club chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
15. DELIVERY DETAILS
Delivery is door-to-door countrywide (please note: free delivery is only applicable to deliveries in South Africa, when "free delivery" is offered) but otherwise charges vary according to the area you are in

Your wine or product is insured against breakage and theft, an insurance equal to 1.8% of the value of your purchase will be debited to your card.
15.5: Money Back Guarantee:
We guarantee a full refund on products purchased, no questions asked, and we will also collect the remainder of any pack and refund you in full for the product if you are unhappy with the quality, the service or any aspect of your Wine-of-the-Month Club membership. Should you make a purchase redeeming Rewards of any kind, your account will be credited according to Wine-of-the-Month Club’s return policy.
In the unlikely event that there is a broken bottle in your case, please tell us immediately and we will credit your account. We reserve the right to substitute product if stock runs out, to the same or higher value of the stock.
Your introductory free gift may not be redeemed for cash or exchanged for another product. It is also not redeemable with any other offer.

16. COUPON AND VOUCHER ISSUE CONDITIONS
16.1.1 We may from time to time make available electronic discount vouchers and coupons via our computer systems for redemption against products offered for sale on our website (“Vouchers”).
16.1.2 Each such Voucher offer is made subject to these general terms as well as the specific terms and rules applicable to the particular Voucher (“Voucher Terms”). The Voucher Terms will be referred to or set out on the relevant Voucher offer or otherwise be made available online.
16.1.3 We may, at our sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice to you, change the description and/or terms applicable to any Voucher offer or discontinue the availability of any such offer.
16.1.4 Should there be a conflict between the terms contained in this document and the Voucher Terms, the Voucher Terms will prevail. The onus is on the user to familiarise themselves with the relevant Voucher Terms before participating in a Voucher offer or attempting to redeem a Voucher.
16.2 Voucher Descriptions
16.2.1 Each Voucher offer will set out at least the following in its Voucher Terms:
16.2.2 The value of the Vouchers expressed either in South African Rand or as a percentage discount;
16.2.3 The specific product(s) against which the Vouchers may be redeemed;
16.2.4 How the Vouchers may be redeemed e.g.: online only;
16.2.5 The period for which the offer and/or the issued Vouchers are valid;
16.2.6 Any other specific condition, restriction or limit which applies to the issue or redemption of the Vouchers. This may include any minimum purchase or spend requirements;
16.3 Voucher Offer Restrictions
16.3.1 Unless expressly stated otherwise –
16.3.2 Only persons over the age of 18 and able to conclude binding contracts may subscribe and participate in our Voucher offers. We may ask you to provide adequate proof in respect of this requirement;
16.3.3 No more than one Voucher per person and household will be available under any Voucher offer;
16.3.4 Each Voucher may be redeemed only once;
16.3.5 A Voucher is not transferable. It may therefore only be redeemed by the person to whom it was issued unless we give our written consent for the Voucher to be transferred to another person;
16.3.6 Only one Voucher will be redeemed per purchase from us;
16.3.7 A Voucher may not be used in conjunction with any other special offer, promotion, voucher or coupon unless this is specifically permitted in the relevant Voucher Terms;
16.3.8 Vouchers cannot be redeemed against prior purchases;
16.3.9 Your participation in a Voucher offer may be subject to additional criteria (e.g. a minimum age) with which you will need to comply. Examples:
16.3.10 If a Voucher applies only to website offers, you may not redeem it by phoning your order in;
16.3.11 If the Voucher applies only to certain specified products, you may not redeem it against any other products;
16.3.12 If the Voucher may be redeemed during a certain period, you may not redeem it during any other period;
16.3.13 Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or for other vouchers of any kind. No change will be paid out if the value of the products for which the Voucher is used is less than the value of the Voucher;
16.3.14 Vouchers cannot be used to pay for insurance, delivery or other charges which may apply to the purchase of the products to which Voucher relates.
16.4 Subscription and Issuing of Vouchers
16.4.1 Before you can become eligible to participate in our Voucher offers, you will be required to complete the prescribed subscription process, subject to the following:
16.4.2 By subscribing you agree that we may communicate with you concerning Voucher offers and promotions that may be of interest you;
16.4.3 You may notify us at any time if you want us to stop sending you such communications. This may be done by sending us an email at email@example.com
16.4.4 We may from time to time make available certain Vouchers for certain products as described in the relevant Voucher Terms. You may submit requests to take up such Vouchers by completing our automated Voucher issuing process in the prescribed manner. The process will provide you with an opportunity to review the request, to correct mistakes and to cancel each request before finally submitting it. Please make sure that the all details are correct before submitting the request. We may restrict the number of Vouchers to be issued to you and/or your household to discourage unfair practices.
16.4.6 The law prescribes a minimum age for certain products and you are younger than the minimum age;
16.4.7 An offer is limited to a certain geographical area and you do not live in that area to which the offer applies;
16.4.8 The Voucher stock under the offer is exhausted; or
16.4.9The number of Vouchers issued to you exceeds any applicable limit.
16.5 Voucher Redemption
16.5.1 Each Voucher that you acquire from us creates a right to obtain a defined discount on specific products available for sale. The Voucher may, however, only be redeemed –
16.5.2 By the person to whom it has been issued, and
16.5.3 Where all the applicable Voucher Terms (including any restrictions which may be stated) have been fulfilled.
16.5.4 We will not re-issue damaged, lost or stolen Vouchers. Your Voucher will typically contain unique identification numbers, barcodes and/or access codes which will make sure that each Voucher is redeemed only once. No Voucher may be redeemed without such information being made available.
16.5.5 We may ask that you provide us with suitable evidence of your right to use the Voucher before you may redeem it. We are not obliged to redeem Voucher under the following circumstances –
16.5.6 Where the Voucher was issued to you by mistake;
16.5.7 Where the Voucher is manifestly incorrect;
16.5.8 Where redeeming the Voucher would be illegal;
16.5.9 Where redeeming the Voucher would be practically impossible where, for example, our computer systems are not functioning properly or the product to which the Voucher applies is unavailable for any reason. If the product to which the 16.5.10 Voucher applies is unavailable when you try to redeem the Voucher, we will advise you and attempt to source the product at the same promotional price.
17. MEMBERSHIP FEES
17.1 A Club membership fee may apply and is charged on an annual basis.
18. CHANGES TO AGREEMENT Wine-of-the-Month Club may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
19. COMPETITION RULES
- Unless expressly stated otherwise these terms will apply to all competitions offered by Converge (Pty) Ltd T/a Wine-of-the-Month Club and Good Taste magazine. In the event of conflict between these terms and the rules applicable to any specific competition, the specific competition’s rules will prevail.
- Regrettably, only South African residents are eligible for prizes, and delivery of gifts or prizes will only be within South Africa.
- Entry is open to anyone except employees (and their immediate families) of Converge (Pty) Ltd T/a Wine-of-the-Month Club and Good Taste magazine, contributors to the magazine, the sponsoring company/companies and/or agents involved in the competition.
- No cash alternative is available to any prize unless expressly stated otherwise.
- The closing date for any competition will be as stated. The judges cannot accept responsibility for late entries.
- Entrants must also be over 18 years of age. Entrants expressly declare that they are duly authorized to participate in the competition.
- Entrants to regular competitions may only win once within a six month period.
- The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- By entering any Converge (Pty) Ltd T/a Wine-of-the-Month Club and Good Taste magazine competitions you agree to receive future correspondence from Converge (Pty) Ltd T/a Wine-of-the-Month Club and Good Taste magazine. An option to opt out will be available on receipt of any correspondence.
- Entries made via SMS attract a charge – please refer to the promotional material for actual cost per SMS. Free rates do not apply.
- We reserve the right to cancel any competition without notice at any time.
- Multiple winners may be subject to tie-break to decide an outright winner.
- We may re-allot prizes if we are unable to contact selected winners. Please ensure that you provide the correct contact details.
- Prizes not claimed within 3 months will be forfeited.
- New and existing members of the club and subscribers to Good Taste may enter into any subscriber competitions.
- If you take out a gift subscription, please note that the donor of the subscription will be eligible for the prize.
- Any deviation from the rules and/or attempt to manipulate the outcome of the prize will result in disqualification.
- Winners may be required to be photographed for publicity purposes or to participate in a radio or television broadcast. No fees will be payable in this regard.
- Prizes are non-transferable in whole or in part, must be taken as stated and may not be sold to a third party. You must confirm acceptance of the prize as stated, failing which you will no longer be eligible for a prize, and that prize will be re-allotted.
- Where prizes involve travelling abroad, winners must be in possession of a valid passport, required visas and the relevant health certificates.
- We accept no responsibility for any incorrect or incomplete registration details that you may supply as part of your registration. No responsibility will be accepted for undelivered, lost or delayed entries. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Errors in entries may, in the judge’s discretion, void entries.
- If any prize offered is unavailable, we reserve the right to select alternative prizes of equivalent value and we reserve the right to modify, supplement or withdraw all or part of this competition without notice and no refunds of costs of entry will be payable.
- Entrants acknowledge that in consideration of the prize offered to winners by us the winning entries may be released, performed or displayed to the public by us or any company connected with the promotion. This will be in the form of the winner’s name and place of origin. Entrants agree that we are the owner of all right, title and interest in all entries, including the entire copyright, whether now existing or howsoever, arising in the future, including all worldwide rights to promote, reproduce for commercial use or otherwise, edit, advertise and publicise, produce, record and reproduce by any art medium or method whether now known or later developed (‘Exploitation Rights’) to be exercised in our sole discretion throughout the world for the full term of copyright and other rights in the entries and all extensions thereof including for the avoidance of doubt the right to register any design rights and/or trademarks. Entrants undertake to do all things necessary, including the execution of any requisite documentation to transfer the Exploitation Rights to us, as and when requested by us.
- Further, the entrant irrevocably and unconditionally waives all moral rights to which they may now or at any time in the future be entitled pursuant to any copyright law and under any similar law in force from time to time anywhere in the world in respect of all works referred to herein.
- By entering into a competition it is deemed that you have read and understood these rules.
- In the case of a competition by means of a draw, the draw will take place within 3 weeks of the closing date of the competition, unless otherwise stipulated.
20. Spending Miles
Awards may be issued by any authorised person with access to www.flysaa.com or by any South African Airways ticketing office or Voyager Service Centre.
Outside the borders of South Africa, only South African Airways ticketing offices are authorised to issue South African Airways and Airline Partner Award tickets.
Members are also able to issue an electronic ticket via www.flysaa.com. Not all airports outside South Africa have ticketing facilities.
Awards and Award tickets requested through a South African Airways ticketing office or Voyager Service Centre can only be processed during business hours. Refer to the "Help Desk" page on www.flysaa.com for the business hours and contact details [https://www.flysaa.com/za/en/voyager/AboutVoyager/flysaa_VoyagerContacts.html].
A signed written request accompanied by a copy of the Member's valid identification document and authority for payment of any applicable fees, is required. Such documentation can be sent by fax +2711 978 1551 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If a Member is a child or legally incompetent, their legal guardian must sign the Award request. Further documentation may be required by South African Airways which shall be communicated to the Member.
When dealing with the Voyager Service Centres, payment of taxes, fees, levies, charges and surcharges applicable are for the passenger's account and may only be made by credit card. Details of the credit card including card number, card association, and card expiry date are required.
South African Airways shall not be liable for any delays of travel dates or delays in processing Awards as a result of insufficient documentation, processing time or delivery time.
Service fees are applicable for Award tickets issued through a South African Airways ticketing office, as follows –
R200.00 (two hundred Rand) per ticket for routes within the Republic of South Africa; and
R500.00 (five hundred Rand) per ticket for international routes.
Award ticket processing fees are non-refundable.
Only 1 (one) Award may be used per Member, per Sector. Awards cannot be combined in any manner whatsoever with any account or Award of another person, whether or not that person is a Member.
South African Airways Award Certificates and Airline Partner Award Certificates are valid for a maximum period of 6 (six) months from the date of issue. The Award Certificate must be exchanged for the actual ticket before the Award Certificate expires.
Non-Airline Partner Award Certificates are valid for a maximum period of 3 (three) months from the date of issue. The Award Certificate must be exchanged for the actual service or product before the Award Certificate expires.
If an Award expires all the Miles that were used to obtain such Award will be forfeited, even if the Miles in whole or in part were not yet due to expire. No exceptions will be made.
Miles required for available Awards, excepting for Dynamic Awards, are published in the Award charts on www.flysaa.com. Refer to the "Spending Miles" page for the applicable Award charts.
South African Airways is the sole authority with respect to the redemption and/or issuance of Awards.
Awards may not be used with any other discount or promotion.
Awards and Award tickets are not redeemable for cash or any other consideration.
Awards and Award tickets are at all times subject to availability.
Award tickets are issued on a return or one-way basis unless otherwise specified by South African Airways.
Award tickets cannot be issued on Codeshare Flights where South African Airways or the Airline Partner in question is not the operating airline.
Award travel is subject to all governmental and regulatory approvals.
Awards or Miles may not be sold, bought, bartered or pooled. If determined that any Awards or airline tickets have been obtained in this manner, they will be deemed by South African Airways as being void and cannot be redeemed. All Members concerned may be disqualified by South African Airways from further participation in the SAA Voyager Programme without any liability to such Members. South African Airways may, in its sole discretion, recover any costs or damages from the Member.
The Member must have sufficient Miles for the Award required. The relevant number of Miles will be withdrawn from the Member's account in accordance with the Award selected.
A Member has the option to purchase Miles if they are short of Miles for an Award. The Member may purchase up to 50% (fifty percent) of the total Miles needed for an Award at the cost of R250.00 (two hundred and fifty Rand) per 1 000 (one thousand) Miles. Payment must be made by credit card. Such Miles are sold in denominations of 1 000 (one thousand).
The Member may request an Award for their personal use or anyone else they designate. However, the Member bears the sole responsibility for the use of the Awards.
Save for Dynamic Awards, South African Airways and Airline Partner Awards are only issued between the two cities served, as defined in the published Award charts, using the most direct route .
Award tickets for confirmed bookings must be issued according to ticket time limit rules and regulations.
For international travel, Award tickets must be issued according to the passenger's full name as displayed on the passenger's passport. For domestic travel, Award tickets must be issued according to the passenger's full name as displayed on the passenger's passport and/or identification document.
The surname of the person using the Award must correspond with the Award recipient's surname specified at the time of issuing the Award.
Once issued, Awards and tickets are not transferable in any manner whatsoever.
Unless otherwise expressly specified, an Award can only be used by one person.
Save for Health-Spa Awards, which are not reversible, and subject to the specific Airline Partner or Non-Airline Partner's rules, Awards can be reversed within 30 (thirty) days of date of issue. A reversal fee of R210.00 (two hundred and ten) and any other fees relevant to such reversal are applicable, with the exception of Platinum and Lifetime Platinum Members. For any Award reversal, only the Miles that are still within validity will be credited back into the Member's account. Expired Miles will not be reinstated.
Should a Member need to change a ticketed Award Flight, and such a change results in the change of flight routing, zone, region or class, the Award must be reversed and re-issued for the new flight. Once travel has commenced no changes to the flight routing, or region will be permitted. Award Flights must be taken in the order they were originally booked and ticketed.
SAA Voyager reserves the right to request valid proof of identification of any person making use of any services or Benefits of the SAA Voyager Programme and may refuse, in its sole discretion, services and/or Benefits in the absence of such identification.
It is the responsibility of each Member to keep track of any and all redemptions made against their account.
No Award disputes will be considered by South African Airways unless notified in writing within 90 (ninety) days of the date the Award was issued. A signed, written request, along with a copy of the Member's identity document or passport must be sent to: Voyager Programme Compliance Division, Isando, South Africa, 1600. A scanned copy of a signed letter can be sent by e-mail to email@example.com. No telephonic requests will be accepted.
In the event of flight cancellations:
the passenger will, at the sole discretion of South African Airways and/or the Airline Partner, be transferred to the next available flight with the Airline Partner specified on the Award ticket;
the passenger will travel in the class of service actually purchased (passenger's original airline ticket purchased), and not the upgraded class, when travelling on an Upgrade Award; and
where applicable, the Member must submit a request for the unused Award to a Voyager Service Centre so that the unused Miles can be credited to the Member's Voyager account. This must be accompanied by documentation of the circumstances , including original boarding passes and copy of the airline ticket(s).
Award tickets cannot be changed or endorsed by another carrier unless otherwise specified by South African Airways or SAA Voyager .
Lost and destroyed Awards or Award tickets will not be replaced or credited.
Dynamic Awards are only permitted on South African Airways flight numbers and published revenue fare classes, where South African Airways is the operating carrier (flight number range SA 001 – SA 999).
Dynamic Awards will be issued for the base fare and carrier imposed fees.
Dynamic Awards exclude, where applicable, any other charges including but not limited to: government taxes, surcharges and levies; third-party taxes, credit card levy or surcharge. Members are responsible for and must settle all relevant airport taxes and any additional relevant fees that are due for payment when collecting Award tickets. Such payments must be made - by card or any other form of payment as may apply from time to time.
Dynamic Awards are self-service Awards and are exclusively available via www.flysaa.com.
There is no Award chart for Dynamic Awards. To obtain a Dynamic Award, Miles quote for a specific flight or to make an actual flight booking; Members are required to login to their account on www.flysaa.com with a valid Membership Number and PIN, and follow the booking process.
Dynamic Awards may only be issued for a confirmed Award Flight.
Award Certificates are not issued for Dynamic Awards. The Award and ticket must be issued in a single transaction.
The fare rules for the published revenue class will apply, in addition to these Terms and Conditions. Any fees or charges resulting from voluntary changes will be collected in cash or card.
Miles redeemable for child and infant tickets are chargeable as per applicable fare rules.
Date changes are permitted as per the fare rules for the following fare classes at no additional charge provided that the date change can be effected in the same booking class.
Y, M, K, J and C fare classes and
Y, B, M, K, J and C international fare classes.
Subject to the fare rules, if a date change must be made for a booking class other than those specified under paragraph 14.2.10, or if a date change results in a different booking class, the Dynamic Award ticket must be refunded, the Award reversed and a new Award must be requested, booked and ticketed.
Dynamic Award tickets are refundable subject to the original fare rules and these Terms and Conditions.
For travel within South Africa, Dynamic Award tickets are valid for 6 (six) months from the date of first travel (first departure date).
For travel in other regions than within South Africa, Dynamic Award tickets are valid for 12 (twelve) months from the date of first travel (first departure date). Changes are permitted according to the original fare rules.
South African Airways Upgrade Awards
South African Airways Upgrade Awards are only permitted on South African Airways flight numbers where South African Airways is the operating carrier (flight number range SA 001 – SA 999).
South African Airways Upgrade Awards can only be issued on a Sector basis.
South African Airways Upgrade Awards are subject to seat availability and confirmation of a seat will be considered between 24 (twenty four) to 48 (forty eight) hours prior to departure of a flight sector requested.
South African Airways Upgrade Awards are issued only for travel within the qualifying region of the Award as specified in the Award chart.
South African Airways Upgrade Awards exclude the difference in cost between the lower class and the upgrade class. All taxes, fees, levies, charges and surcharges applicable are excluded and for the passenger's account. Members are responsible for and must settle all relevant payments as mentioned above when collecting their Upgrade Award ticket. Such payments must be made by credit card or debit card.
South African Airways Upgrade Award Certificates are available via www.flysaa.com.
Miles required for South African Airways Upgrade Awards are as per the Award chart published on www.flysaa.com. Refer to the "Spending Miles" page for the applicable Upgrade Award chart.
Only Y, B, M and K revenue Economy class tickets are eligible for a South African Airways Upgrade Award.
The eligible Economy class booking must first be issued on South African Airways ticket stock (i.e. on ticket numbers that start with "083". E.g. 08324009045671) before the Upgrade Award can be processed for ticketing.
Upgrade Awards may only be used for an upgrade to the next higher cabin class.
Members must purchase confirmed tickets in the lower class of travel, then request the relevant Upgrade Award. Once the applicable Miles have been withdrawn from the Member's Voyager account, the change to the reservation will be made and the Member can then arrange to have the ticket re-issued accordingly.
The booking class for South African Airways Upgrade Awards is 'E'.
Date changes are permitted and the fare rules and restrictions of the original Economy published revenue classes apply, in addition to these Terms and Conditions.
Original endorsements apply to the upgraded ticket.
Subject to the original Economy class fare rules, if a date change takes place on a ticket that has already been upgraded with Miles to the next higher booking class, the Member or passenger must pay the penalty as per original fare rules pertaining to the revenue based ticket. The original booking class must first be booked on the new date of travel, before the upgrade booking class can be requested.
Subject to the original Economy class fare rules, if a date change results in a different Economy booking class, the difference in fare will be collected and the ticket revalidated.
South African Airways Upgrade Award tickets are refundable subject to the original fare rules and these Terms and Conditions.
Journey Blitz Awards
Journey Blitz Awards are only offered from time to time, as promotional Awards on South African Airways.
Journey Blitz Awards are only permitted on specific South African Airways flights or regions, where South African Airways is the operating carrier (flight number range SA 001 – SA 999). Flights and routes available for redemption of the promotional Journey Blitz Awards will vary from time to time, and such information will be published on www.flysaa.com.
Journey Blitz Awards exclude all taxes, fees, levies, charges and surcharges. Members are responsible for and must settle all payments as mentioned above when collecting their Award ticket. Such payments must be made by credit card or debit card.
Journey Blitz Awards are self-service Awards and are exclusively available via www.flysaa.com.
When a promotional Journey Blitz Award is on offer, it will be published on www.flysaa.com specifying the Miles required as well as applicable rules to such a promotion.
Journey Blitz Awards may only be issued for a confirmed Award Flight.
The Award and ticket must be issued in a single transaction.
The booking class for Journey Blitz Economy class is 'X', and the booking class for Journey Blitz Business class is 'I'.
Journey Blitz Awards are non-reversible and non-refundable, no changes to the booking class will be permitted.
Validity of JourneyBlitz Award tickets will be published at time of the applicable promotion.
Please note JourneyBlitz Awards for unaccompanied Minors (UM's) must be requested via the Call Centre.
Star Alliance flight Awards and Star Alliance Upgrade Awards
Miles required for Star Alliance flight Awards and Star Alliance Upgrade Awards are as per the Award charts published on www.flysaa.com. Awards must be on Star Alliance Partner(s). Refer to the "Voyager & Star Alliance" page for the Star Alliance Award charts.

Non-Airline Partner Awards

Donation of Miles to charity organisations
Members may donate a minimum of 6 000 (six thousand) Miles to a charity organisation affiliated to SAA Voyager.
Miles donated to a charity organisation cannot be reversed or refunded.
Chauffeur Driven service
The chauffeur service to and from the airport, irrespective of class of travel, is exclusively available to Lifetime Platinum Members.
The chauffeur service is also available to Platinum Members, when travelling in Premium Class and Y, B, M and K Economy Class.
The chauffeur service is available to Lifetime Platinum and Platinum members (as stated under paragraph 15.1 and 15.2 above) including a maximum of 2 (two) guests per vehicle on qualifying intercontinental South African Airways operated flights. The chauffeur service shall only be available where the date and other details of the qualifying flight correspond with the requested chauffeur pick-up or drop-off date.
The chauffeur service will only be valid for flights that are confirmed with South African Airways.
Chauffeur requests must be submitted at least 48 (forty eight) hours prior to departure. It is the responsibility of the Member to make and amend chauffeur bookings accordingly.
Modification and suspension rights
South African Airways reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to modify or suspend the SAA Voyager Programme (or any aspect thereof) and/or cancel the SAA Voyager Programme in its entirety, without any liability to Members, on 6 (six) months' notice to Active Members.
SAA Voyager reserves the right to cease mailing SAA Voyager Programme updates and related materials to any Member who has not accumulated Mileage for a 4 (four) month period.
SAA Voyager information shall not be forwarded to inactive Members.
Cities served and flight schedules may be changed or cancelled at any time at the discretion of South African Airways and/or SAA Voyager Partners, with or without notice to Members and without liability to South African Airways and/or SAA Voyager Partners.
South African Airways and participating SAA Voyager Partners reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to exclude certain fares, rates, services and/or programmes from earning Miles.
SAA Voyager participation is subject to all laws, government or other regulatory rules, policies, procedures and requirements as applicable from time to time.
Disqualification, suspension and termination of Membership by SAA
South African Airways reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to suspend and/or disqualify any Member from participating or further participating in the SAA Voyager Programme at any time or to terminate Membership as set forth in paragraph 17.3 below on notice to the Member.
Members shall adhere to and strictly comply with these Terms and Conditions including all terms, conditions, rules and regulations applicable to the SAA Voyager Programme and South African Airways or any terms and conditions of carriage for passengers and baggage of any Airline Partners. Members shall at all times be courteous and respectful in dealing with any staff, agents or employees of South African Airways and Airline Partners.
Should the Member in any manner whatsoever:
breach, abuse or misuse any Benefits;
fraudulently acquire Miles or Awards (including suspected or actual fraud and/or suspected or actual abuse of Miles or Awards); and/or
breach any of the terms under these Terms and Conditions
South African Airways shall have the right, without prejudice to any other rights or remedies as may be available to it (whether at law, delict or otherwise), to:
forthwith suspend and/or disqualify a Member from participation or further participation in the SAA Voyager Programme and to cancel all accumulated Miles; or
immediately terminate Membership and to cancel all accumulated Miles;
render the Member liable for all legal costs and expenses as may be incurred by South African Airways pursuant thereto.
If South African Airways determines that a flight ticket or any other Airline Partner service has been acquired by means of an Award for which a passenger or Member does not qualify or has, amongst other, been bought, sold, bartered, pooled or stolen, the Award and or ticket will be cancelled, confiscated and not honoured. In such circumstances the traveller will be liable for payment of the full cost of the service. Individuals selling or bartering Awards may be liable for damages, including all litigation costs and expenses, and their participation in the SAA Voyager Programme may be terminated in the sole discretion of South African Airways.
South African Airways reserves the right to audit and suspend any SAA Voyager account, at any time without notice to a Member, until such audit is completed.
Deceased SAA Voyager Members
Voyager must be informed of the member's death and a valid death certificate, medical report and a copy of the deceased member's last will and testament must be submitted to the nearest Voyager Service Centre.
If the beneficiary dies, the deceased Member's account reverts to SAA Voyager.
Accumulated Miles from the deceased member's account cannot be split among family members unless specified in the member's last will and testament, nor be combined with any other Voyager membership number.
However, the deceased member's beneficiaries may request Awards from the deceased member's account, provided that there are sufficient unexpired Miles available.
The beneficiary cannot transfer the Awards mentioned above to a third party.
If the beneficiary dies, the account reverts to South African Airways.
No Miles will be credited to the Voyager Member's account after the date of death as stated on the death certificate or medical report.
Lost or damaged luggage tags and/or replacement membership cards
These will be replaced at a cost of R100.00 (one hundred Rand) per set of 2(two) luggage tags or per Membership Card.
Cancellation of Membership by Members
Members may cancel Membership in the SAA Voyager Programme at any time without penalty and on prior written notice of 14 (fourteen) business days to South African Airways. On providing written notice of cancellation to South African Airways, Members shall be required to provide a copy of the ID or passport associated with the Membership.
All accumulated Miles will, immediately upon receipt by South African Airways of cancellation of Membership, be forfeited and the Member's details will be deleted from the database. Miles cannot be transferred, assigned, sold or combined in any manner whatsoever with any account or Miles of another person, whether or not that person is a Member.
The cancellation of Membership is a Member's sole right and remedy with respect to any dispute a Member may have with South African Airways.
Postal and courier responsibility
South African Airways cannot be held responsible in any manner whatsoever for postal delays or for items lost or damaged in the post.
SAA Voyager takes no responsibility whatsoever for any disruption or loss of Programme updates or literature, as well as submitted documentation due to postal / courier service failure or strike action.
Exclusion of liability
South African Airways will not assume responsibility to a Member (or any person nominated by a Member for an Award) for any indirect, consequential or special damages, howsoever caused, whether arising from any act or omission of South African Airways, or any third party for whom South African Airways is vicariously responsible (contractually or otherwise) save where such damages were caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of South African Airways or any third party for whom South African Airways is vicariously responsible (contractually or otherwise).
MEMBERS HEREBY INDEMNIFY SOUTH AFRICAN AIRWAYS AGAINST ANY LOSS, CLAIM OR DAMAGE WHICH MAY BE SUFFERED BY MEMBERS OR ANY THIRD PARTY ARISING IN ANY WAY FROM THE MEMBER'S USE OF THE SAA VOYAGER WEBSITE, THE SOUTH AFRICAN AIRWAYS WEBSITE (WWW.FLYSAA.COM) AND/OR ANY LINKED THIRD PARTY WEBSITE.
Limitation of liability
Any claim for direct damages that the Member or the holder of any Award issued may have against South African Airways:
may only be brought in the High Court of South Africa, Gauteng Local Division, the jurisdiction of which the Member consents; and
shall be the lesser of the actual loss suffered or R500.00 (five hundred Rand), which may be discharged by South African Airways in its discretion, by the Awarding of accrual Miles equivalent to the amount Awarded.
Members may not rely on any representation or term express, understood or implied, which allegedly induced them to become a Member of the SAA Voyager Programme, unless such representation is recorded herein or in writing and signed by a duly authorised representative on behalf of South African Airways.
Variation, cancellation and waiver
Subject to the provisions of paragraph 16 above, South African Airways shall be entitled to amend or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time.
No contract varying, adding to, deleting from or cancelling of these Terms and Conditions (and no waiver of any right under these Terms and Conditions) may be claimed by the Member unless such is in writing and is signed by or on behalf of South African Airways by a duly authorised representative.
Members may not cede their rights nor delegate their obligations at any time, except as expressly set out herein.
South African Airways may cede its rights and/or delegate its obligations at any time, without the consent of the Members.
These Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted and implemented in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Conflicts and ambiguities
If there is any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other terms, rules or regulations of the SAA Voyager Programme, or any Awards thereunder, or if there is any ambiguity, inconsistency or omission, it shall be referred to the Executive of SAA Voyager Customer Loyalty whose decision on this matter shall be final and binding on the Member.
Electronic communications and transactions
South African Airways respect your privacy and will take reasonable measures to protect it, as more fully detailed below.
South African Airways may require you to provide us with certain Member Information, which includes but is not limited to -
your name and surname;
your email address;
your physical and postal address;
your contact numbers;
your date of birth; and
identification and/or passport number.
Should your Member Information change, it is your responsibility to inform South African Airways and provide us with updates to your Member Information as soon as reasonably possible to enable us to update your Member Information.
Members may choose to provide additional personal information to South African Airways, in which event Members agree to provide accurate and current information, and not to impersonate or misrepresent any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent Member affiliation with anyone or anything.
The purposes for which South African Airways will use Member Information are as follows:
to communicate with Members;
to contact Members regarding current or new services or Benefits (provided Members have consented to receiving such marketing material);
to inform Members of new features, special offers and promotions (provided Members have consented to receiving such marketing material);
for non-personal statistical purposes; and
to improve Member experience on South African Airways' website by, inter alia, monitoring statistical non-personal browsing habits, and to transact with South African Airways.
South African Airways may share Member Information with business partners for commercial reasons.
South African Airways will not use your personal information for any purpose (other than as stated above) without Members' express consent. South African Airways will not use or disclose Member Information to third parties without Member consent, unless the use or disclosure is -
required in order to comply with applicable law, order of court or legal process served on South African Airways; and/or
disclosure is necessary to protect and defend the rights or property of South African Airways.
South African Airways will be entitled to disclose Member Information to those of its employees and/or third party service providers who assist South African Airways to interact with Members and thus need to know Member Information in order to assist South African Airways to communicate with Members properly and efficiently.
South African Airways will -
treat Member Information as strictly confidential;
take appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure that Member Information is kept secure and is protected against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage, alteration, disclosure or access;
provide Members with access to Member Information to view and/or update personal details;
promptly notify Members if South African Airways become aware of any unauthorised use, disclosure or processing of your Member Information;
provide Members with reasonable evidence of South African Airways' compliance with its obligations under these Terms and Conditions on reasonable notice and request; and
upon Member's request, promptly return or destroy any and all Member Information in South African Airways possession or control.
South African Airways will not retain Member Information longer than the period for which it was originally needed, unless South African Airways are required by law to do so, or Members consent to South African Airways retaining such information for a longer period.
Whilst South African Airways will do all things reasonably necessary to protect Members' rights of privacy, South African Airways cannot guarantee or accept any liability whatsoever for unauthorised or unlawful disclosures of Member Information, whilst in South African Airways' possession, made by third parties who are not subject to South African Airways' control, unless such disclosure is as a result of South African Airways gross negligence.
Security of information
All reasonable steps will be taken to secure Member Information.
Members undertake not to divulge their user name and passwords or PIN to any other person. Should Members divulge such information, South African Airways accepts no responsibility for losses.
It is expressly prohibited for any Member, person, business, or entity to gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any page on the South African Airways website (www.flysaa.com) to deliver or attempt to deliver any unauthorised damaging or malicious code to the website. Any Member or person who delivers or attempts to deliver any unauthorised, damaging or malicious code to the website or attempts to gain unauthorised access to any page on the website shall be held criminally liable, and in the event that South African Airways or SAA Voyager should suffer any damage or loss, civil damages will be claimed against such Member or person.
Subject to the provisions of sections 43(5) and 43(6) of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, South African Airways shall not be liable for any damage, loss or liability of whatsoever nature arising from the use or inability to use the website or the services or content provided from and through the website. Furthermore, South African Airways makes no representations or warranties, implied or otherwise, that, among others, the content and technology available from the website are free from errors or omissions or that the service will be 100% (one hundred percent) uninterrupted and error free.
The website is supplied on an 'as is' basis and has not been compiled or supplied to meet the Member's individual requirements. It is the sole responsibility of the Member to satisfy him/herself that the service available from and through the website will meet the Member's individual requirements and be compatible with the Member's hardware and/or software.
Information, ideas and opinions expressed on the website (www.flysaa.com) should not be regarded as professional advice or the official opinion of South African Airways or SAA Voyager.
When Members visit the South African Airways website or send emails to South African Airways or SAA Voyager, the Member consent to receiving communications from South African Airways electronically.

The South African Airways website (www.flysaa.com) may contain links or references to other websites ("Third Party Websites") outside of South African Airways control, including those of advertisers. These Terms and Conditions do not apply to those Third Party Websites and South African Airways is not responsible for the practices and/or privacy policies of those Third Party Websites or the "cookies" that those sites may use.
Notwithstanding the fact that the South African Airways website may refer to or provide links to Third Party Websites, Members' use of such Third Party Websites is entirely at its own risk and South African Airways are not responsible for any loss, expense, claim or damage, whether direct, indirect or consequential, arising from your use of such Third Party Websites or your reliance on any information contained thereon.
As a Member, you agree that your domicilia citandi et executandi ("domicilium") will be the address provided by you when you registered as a Member for the purposes of receiving any written notices in respect of these Terms and Conditions. Members may, by written notice to South African Airways, vary its domicilium to any other address which is not a post office box.
