After nearly two decades at Tokara’s helm, Miles Mossop had the time to fine-tune his own brand. Miles Mossop Wines was established in 2004 with the vision to create wines unique in character, expressing the true nature of South Africa and the sites from which the grapes are sourced. The Miles Mossop Tonys Cape Vintage Reserve 2019 is made from 100% Touriga Nacional. This fortified wine is matured in an old 500-litre barrel for 20 months. Inviting aromatics of red and black, a pronounced but not unpleasant herbal note and spice. The palate is relatively light for a Cape Vintage Reserve with fresh acidity and a nicely tannic finish.
